Benefits of Aloe vera

Aloe vera is extracted from the aloe plant and has been credited with the ability to support health. Aloe is a succulent that can be grown indoors or outdoors. Aloe vera is used in many forms for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Known as the 'Miracle Plant', 'Natural Healer' or the 'Burn Plant' Aloe Vera because of its immense medicinal properties has been used around the world for the last 4000 years.

Aloe vera has numerous health benefits and has been proven to treat multiple health ailments for years and years. Contrary to the pills and potions given out by the drug companies, Aloe has very few side effects and most people have no negative reactions at all.

Not for nothing has this plant been labeled Miracle Plant, Wand of Heaven, Burns Plant, Immortality, Heaven’s Blessing, Plant of Life, Wonder Plant and Potted Physician among other names!

Aloe vera is available in my forms to help with health issues or just to promote general good-health. The forms include: aloe vera juice, aloe vera capsules (tablets), aloe vera moisturizer, and pure aloe vera straight from aloe vera plants.

It still amazes me that with all the wonderful benefits of aloe vera and all its healing qualities that so few people embrace aloe.

Adopting aloe products into our daily nutrition habits is a great way to improve by a natural way, our health, our body's regeneration and our beautiful appearance.

Health benefits of aloe vera gel are abundant and we can maximize our experience by supplementing this healthy, non-tasty-nectar with other healthful components including beehive products.

·         Aloe vera is a very convenient product that is available in many topical creams, ointments, as long as it is produced from stabilized aloe vera leaf’s gel. Some of the most outstanding benefits of aloe are related to cicatrisation. The substance in the aloe plant is conducive to regenerating and this is particularly effective for the skin. Topical solutions that contain high-conciseness pure aloe vera gel are naturally healthful for the surface of the skin for many reasons.
·         Skin readily absorbs aloe because one of many aloe's components, Lignin has the ability to penetrate all three human skin layers (epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis) and convey the health benefits of aloe vera gel. As well as, composition of the plant is much like the composition of the human body. The similarities make the gels and creams containing stabilized aloe vera gel more compatible with skin and organism than many other products available on the market.
·         Topical care is great benefit of using aloe vera skin care products. Many people use this component to relief symptoms of skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. The solution is ideal for the first care of burns, minor traumas, abrasions, skin irritation and it can help skin recover faster, without inelegant, ugly scars after minor surgery. Aloe is a natural anti-infectious that has been used to relief peptic ulcers. Results are readily apparent inside and out. People take aloe vera to boost their immunity to bacteria, disease and illnesses. Prevents and treats Candida infections.
·         Combining the healthful qualities of bee products with aloe vera is a wonderful way to strengthen our immune system and detoxify our body. Bee products maximize the health benefits of aloe vera.
·         Aloe vera drink has natural detoxifying properties that work to cleanse the digestive system and the circulatory system. Improved absorption of nutrients has been connected with better blood circulation and better body's nutrition at cellular level. Aloe vera juice benefits the body by cleansing the digestive system. Our diets include many unwanted substances which can cause lethargy and exhaustion. Taken regularly Aloe Vera juice benefits you with a greater feeling of well-being, allowing energy levels to increase and helping to maintain a healthy body weight.
·         The potency of anti-aging products is enhanced, when they have the added support of aloe working from inside. The anti-aging properties of aloe are these with the most significant contribution to our appearance and they have a big impact on our health and looks. Aloe in the form of anti-aging aloe skin cream or aloe lotion has the ability to quickly penetrate the various layers of our skin and to reach the muscles of our body; and this penetrating ability can reach even deeper, up to the bones. Thus, aloe can act at the cellular level to nourish and regenerate the cells, yielding excellent results in the holistic approach to skin care.
·         Repairs "sludge blood" and reverses "sticky blood".
·         Prevents kidney stones and protects the body from oxalates in coffee and tea.
·          Replaces dozens of first aid products, makes bandages and antibacterial sprays obsolete. It has been known to pack small chunks of aloe vera gel inside wounds that ultimately healed with zero scarring. As the aloe vera dries, it actually contracts, pulling the wound shut and keeping it completely free of dangerous bacteria. Plus, it provides nourishment to the wound tissue itself. It's also perfect for use on animals, because if they lick the wound, they won't be licking the toxic chemicals found in most first aid products.
·         Protects the kidneys from disease.
·         Scientific research shows strong immunomodulatory and antitumour properties for aloe vera polysaccharides. That means the gel helps boosts immune system function while destroying cancer tumors.
·         Using aloe topically is well known to ease inflammation of joints, reducing arthritis pain. But aloe can also be used internally, reducing inflammation throughout the body from the inside out. People who drink aloe vera for two weeks typically begin to experience a significant reduction of inflammation symptoms.
·         Diabetic patients who take aloe vera for 3 months experience a significant drop in fasting blood sugar levels. They also exhibit lower cholesterol levels and slight improvements in total cholesterol. Numerous clinical studies have been published that demonstrate aloe vera's antidiabetic properties. Diabetics are also likely to benefit strongly from aloe vera's blood enhancements (see below). Since aloe reverses "sludge blood" and boosts circulation to extremities, diabetics suffering from peripheral neuropathy (hands and feet going numb) are likely to benefit strongly from aloe vera supplements.
·         When used internally, aloe vera gel improves the quality of the blood and helps rebalance the blood chemistry in a way that lowers cholesterol and total triglycerides (in people with elevated levels). When you consider that blueberries are also powerful cholesterol-lowering medicines, you realize why the Good Cause Wellness Aloe Vera + Blueberry product is such a smart idea: Both ingredients lower high cholesterol! Plus, this is far safer than using statin drugs, which have extremely harmful negative side effects while depleting the body of nutrients such as CoQ10.
·         Aloe vera relieves joint and muscle pain. . It works when used both internally and externally. Essentially, aloe reduces overall inflammation. Of course, is you continue eating a pro-inflammatory diet (red meat, milk, sugar, white flour, fried foods etc.) then you'll never get rid of all your inflammation with aloe alone, but aloe can help ease your pain while you transition to a healthier lifestyle that eliminates the inflammation for good!
·         Aloe vera amplifies the antioxidant effects of vitamins. It makes vitamin C, vitamin E and other antioxidants work better! It actually potentiates antioxidants, probably due to its effect on enhancing blood quality and allowing the blood to more effectively transport oxygen and nutrients to the body's cells. In fact, it is my belief that aloe vera makes everything nutritious work better due to its blood-enhancing effects. If I'm right about that, it means aloe can potentiate anti-cancer herbs, too, helping them more effectively target tumors.
·         Aloe vera cures ulcers, IBS, Crohn's disease and Celiac disease.  Polysaccharides in the aloe vera plant have curative effects on numerous digestive disorders. The Internet is a storehouse of information and testimonials about aloe vera curing IBS, ulcers, Crohn's disease and other disorders of the digestive tract. This is one of the best-known applications of aloe vera gel. Taking aloe certainly isn't a magic bullet cure, of course. It won't reverse your disease after drinking one glass of aloe vera gel. It needs to be used regularly. Most people report positive results in 3 - 30 days, depending on the condition.
·         A thin layer of aloe vera gel can be used as a natural food preservative, eliminating the need for chemical preservatives.
·         Aloe vera extends lifespan. A study on rats showed aloe vera extends lifespan by 10 percent.
·         Aloe vera cures gum disease. Just sprinkle some of this aloe vera powder on your toothbrush before brushing. The aloe vera powder actually heals gums and eliminates gum disease.
·         Aloe vera saves animals and human from severe hemorrhagic shock (blood loss).
·         As for preventative health benefits from drinking aloe juice or taking aloe tablets/capsules – aloe has been linked to help prevent heart disorders and Parkinson’s disease.

Health Benefits of Almonds

Almonds are healthy nuts loaded with lots of essential nutrients. Almonds are considered to be The King of Nuts. Adding almonds to your daily diet will add multiple nutritional benefits to your diet.
Almonds have only recently begun to receive the proper respect when regarded as a healthy food. For a long time, the common knowledge has been that almonds are way too fatty in order to be considered as a natural health snack alternative. Modern technology and research however, have begun to shed a different light on these tasty little snacks. Despite what people have long thought, there are definitely health benefits to almonds.

As they say, “all good things come in small packages” – a saying that fits the almond benefits to the fullest!
Found in places like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Israel, almond is a very nutritious nut.  It is a rich source of vitamin E, calcium, phosphorous, iron and magnesium. It also contains zinc, selenium, copper and niacin. Almonds contain the most nutrients in comparison to all other nuts.
Both sweet and bitter almonds are available. Usually, sweet almonds are edible and bitter almonds are used to make almond oil, which is used to add flavor to food. Almonds are usually eaten raw, but people also add them as ingredients in salads. Almond milk is a delicious drink.
You can eat almonds directly, preferably eat it empty stomach to ensure absorption of their nutrients. You can soak them in water overnight and eat in the morning. You can also garnish various dishes with crushed almonds.
Almonds are also known to have great medicinal value. Few of the benefits of almonds are given below.
·         Almond is a source of many nutrients which help in development of the brain. Almond induces high intellectual level and has been considered as an essential food item for growing children. Many mothers give almonds soaked in water to their children daily in the morning (2-3 pieces of soaked almonds are good enough; you can also remove the outer shell if it causes allergy to you.
·         Regular consumption of almonds helps to increase the level of high density lipoproteins (HDL) and reduce the level of low density lipoproteins (LDL), thereby effectively controlling cholesterol levels. LDL cholesterol is called bad cholesterol.
·         Mono-saturated fat, protein and potassium contained in almonds are good for the heart. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and reduces the risk of heart diseases. The presence of magnesium in almonds helps to avoid heart attacks. Almonds help reduce C-reactive protein which causes artery-damaging inflammation. Almond is also a source of folic acid. They therefore help to reduce the level of homocystein, which causes fatty plaque buildup in arteries.
·         The benefits of almond for skin care are well known, and hence a massage with almond oil is often recommended for new born babies. Almond milk is also added in some soap as almonds help in improving the complexion of the skin.
·         Potassium present in almond helps to regulates blood pressure. Almonds are very low in sodium which also helps in containing blood pressure.
·         Almond improves the movement of food through the colon, thereby preventing colon cancer.
·         Almonds also help in reducing the rise in sugar and insulin levels after meals. This offers protection from diabetes.
·         Almond contains folic acid. Folic acid helps to reduce the incidence of birth defects in newborn babies.
·         Unsweetened almond milk helps one to reduce weight. The mono-saturated fat contained in almonds satisfies appetite and prevents over-eating. Studies have revealed that almond rich low calorie diet is good for obese people to assist in shedding their weight.
·         Almonds are rich in fiber. Like most other fiber rich food, almonds also help in preventing constipation. Make sure you drink good amount of water after eating almonds.
·         The presence of manganese, copper and Riboflavin helps in energy production.
·         Long considered to be both brain and bone food, almonds also has a particular distinction as an anti-inflammatory, and anti-spasmodic. This makes them a rather smart choice for those who wish to stick to the natural way of living, since it is rather difficult to know everything that is in supplements.
·         Anemia is yet another major health issue which can be improved by regular consumption of these easy to acquire snacks. Inside the average almond, is copper in an organic form. Along with iron and other vitamins, this can contribute to the body’s natural production of blood hemoglobin.
·         Some prepared emulsions of almonds have been used in the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases. This can be helpful when dealing with hoarseness or a tickling cough. While it takes a little bit of simple preparation, it can be useful in treating whooping cough as well as bronchitis and asthma.
·         While today there are many energy drinks, and high priced coffee beverages out there, the majority of the public simply does not ingest the right foods to maintain a balance of bodily chemicals that bring natural energy. Since almonds are so high in manganese, copper and riboflavin, it makes an excellent source of natural energy. Switching from the high priced beverages can not only save money, but protect you from health risks such as ulcers.
·         It was found that the antioxidant nutrients found in almonds could increase antioxidant defenses and reduce oxidative damage in people who are smoking.
·         The zinc in almonds helps to heal wounds and is good for the protein metabolism. It is believed that zinc is beneficial for the development of the reproductive system.
·         Magnesium in almonds is good for the bones, muscles and for maintaining the balance of potassium and calcium in the body. They also regulate the body temperature.
·         Almonds are rich in phosphorous, which is important for building strong teeth and bones. It also helps the body process carbohydrates, fat and protein.
·         Another health benefit of almonds is that they help to prevent gallstones by keeping your gallbladder healthy. Regular consumption of almonds helps to lower the risk of gallstone buildup by up to 25 percent.
·         Almonds are considered to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
Like any other food, even almonds have their cons.
·         Almonds contain oxalates and excessive oxalates can cause crystallization and produces kidney problem. So, people having kidney or gallbladder problems should avoid consuming almonds.
·         Tree nuts such as almonds are among the major food allergens, a group that includes milk and eggs and accounts for 90 percent of food allergies. Symptoms of food allergy can take a mild form, such as itching or abdominal pain; in others, difficulty breathing and dizziness may be severe enough to require emergency room treatment. In extreme cases, food allergies can result in death.
·         Omega-6 fatty acids are essential but overemphasized in the modern diet. The body derives hormones called prostaglandins from omega-6s, which encourage inflammation and blood clotting, increasing the risk of pain and heart disease. Excessive omega-6 in the diet may also contribute to asthma, cancer, autoimmunity; obesity, depression and even a tendency toward violence, according to Andrew Weil, M.D. Almonds are very high in omega-6 fatty acids. A 1 oz. serving of almonds has over 3g.
·         Arginine is an amino acid required by the herpes virus for growth and proliferation. Diets high in arginine and low in lysine encourage herpes outbreaks in those who suffer from this common condition, which affects as much as 85 percent of the population. Like most nuts, almonds have nearly four times as much arginine as lysine, a ratio that favors fever blisters.
·         Almonds derive more than 70 percent of their calories from fat. One serving alone, less than 30 almonds, contains 14g fat and more than 150 calories. Because they are so calorically dense, it's easy to consume too many calories and too much fat when eating nuts. This can lead to weight gain.
·         There is controversy regarding the relative health benefits of high-carbohydrate diets compared with diets high in monounsaturated fat (MUFA). High-fat diets have been associated with the worsening of insulin sensitivity in many clinical studies of non-diabetic persons. In patients with established diabetes, high-fat diets increase fasting and postprandial glucose and insulin concentrations, whereas adherence to a low-fat diet improves glucose tolerance over five years in persons with impaired glucose tolerance.
